Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1 - Cochin to Munnar - Arrival & Transfer
Arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station, meet and assistance. Transfer to Munnar. Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the place of South India’s highest peak (Anamudi – 2695 mts). On the way visit Valara, On the way, visit Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls; both of these are seasonal attractions, along with tea plantations. On arrival at Munnar, transfer to the Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragus Hilarious) – the mountain goat of South India & Tea Museum . Evening have a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2 - Munnar - Full Day Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast full day visit to Munnar. Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu View Point, Blossom Park etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing. Shopping & overnight at the hotel in Munnar.
DAY 3 - Munnar - Third Day Sightseeing
Morning depart to enjoy full day sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting Athukkad Falls, Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park – famous for Nilgiri Tahr(Wild goat), Anamudi Peak – South India’s Highest Peak, Tata Tea Museum, International Blossom(Hydel) Park, Pothamedu Sunset View. Evening Spice/Tea trailing at Munnar. Overnight at the Hotel in Munnar.
DAY 4 - Munnar to Thekkady - Transfer
Morning breakfast then Transfer from Munnar to Thekkady
DAY 5 - Thekkady - Full Day Sightseeing
After an early breakfast, go on a viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. There are also few tribal villages to explore. Later, come back to the hotel Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

DAY 6 - Thekkady to Cochin - Departure
After breakfast check out from the Hotel and drive to Cochin Airport / railway station (depending on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling content about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God’s Own Country.
